Every time we go to Glacier Point, I notice something new. This time we noticed the new signs that give some history and has a map of Glacier Point.  Right above Brandi's head you can see the famous photo of the two (crazy) ladies standing on one leg on an overhanging rock up at Glacier Point.

No trip to Yosemite Valley is complete without a trip to Glacier Point.  Behind Nick is the High Sierra with North Dome and Basket Dome in the near background.

The girls stand near the place where they used to drop the firefall (a tradition that stopped in 1969). They are looking at a valley that is spread out like a map below them.  Curry Village is down below. Just a couple of hours earlier, we were down there looking up.

The Geology Exhibit explains how Yosemite was formed and carved out by glaciers many years ago.

View of Half Dome and Tenaya Canyon from the Geology Exhibit. You can still see the smoke from the fire on the shoulder of Half Dome.
